There are so many ways to get involved in Alpha Phi at University of Iowa. Alpha Phi is a cutting edge organization and is always the chapter at the University of Iowa leading the way in leadership development opportunities. When you join Alpha Phi, you will have endless opportunities to develop into the leader that you want to be and your sisters and your sorority will support you all the way!
Each year Alpha Phi pays for the current executive board to travel and attend a regional leadership development conference. At this conference, Alpha Phi's meet with the Alpha Phi International team and the Alpha Phi Foundation Board of Directors to understand the fraternity at a national level and develop leadership skills. Our executive board is able to meet with Alpha Phi's from all over the country and bring back materials that better the Delta Epsilon chapter as a whole.
The Alpha Phi International Fraternity also hosts the Emerging Leaders Institute, which is open to freshman and sophomores. In 2014, Alpha Phi launched the Alpha Phi International Leadership Fellows program open to juniors and seniors. Both of these programs offer women the opportunity for a fully paid scholarship which covers travel, lodging, and meals to immerse yourself in a truly inspiring and innovative program.
Within the Delta Epsilon chapter, there are over 40 opportunities for you to become an officer with Alpha Phi!
